Room 25 - More Persuasive Writing

The children in Room 25 have been learning to write persuasive text. They are able to form and state an opinion about a topic, support it with reasons and link their conclusion to their introduction.

I believe that we should be allowed to play on our scooters at play time.

Firstly all of the children would get a lot of exercise and people who didn’t get to scooter at home would get to scooter.

Also scooters are environmentally friendly to the earth.

Last of all lots of kids in this school and many people enjoy scootering.

In conclusion, I think that we should be allowed to scooter at playtime.

Why are there no doctors at school? I believe that there should be doctors at school.

First when the Rugby World Cup is on they make terms longer which makes children get tired so they get sick.

Also the school will get more money because lots of people are sick in Spring.

Last but not least, doctors help make children fit which makes lives better.

In conclusion I think doctors should be at school.

I believe that hunters should not shoot animals.

Firstly because it’s cruel to shoot living things.

Also they’re precious to nature and they are nature.

Finally they could be endangered animals. We do not want them to be extinct.

In conclusion, we should not shoot animals. Leave them in peace!

I believe that there should be more trees at school.

Firstly it would bring more oxygen to the world.

Next there would be more places for birds to rest.

Last of all we would have more cover from the sun.

In conclusion we would have a better school if we had more trees at school.
