Book Review Winners from Room 21 and Room 25

In the last week of Term 3 Room 21 and Room 25 decided to enter the Book Council Website Book Review Competition.

Most of the children in both classes entered the competition and our school won the award for the most reviews entered. The prize is a bundle of books for the school library and a free author’s visit to our school in 2012.

We also had several individual winners. Drew Fletcher from Room 21 won the intermediate section of the competition with her review of Between Shades of Grey and Jordan Smyth was the runner-up with his review of Charlie Small: The Forest of Skulls.

From Room 25 Liam Clarke won the junior section with his description of Harry Hobnail and the Pungapeople and Kieran Lance was runner-up writing about the same book. Jamie Robertson was also a runner-up with a review about Geronimo Stilton and the Kingdom of Fantasy.

Both winners will receive a pack of books and the winners and runners-up have had their reviews published on the Book Council website.
